Last week the Bacsoft team in Germany was busy exhibiting at two exciting conferences: Dortmund Pumps and Valves and Berlin Wasser. These events showcase the latest developments in the industry including the power of Industry 4.0 and IIoT to transform water utilities.
At the events, we were joined by our partners Amare-Tec and Tebbe who demonstrated an IIoT solution that measures water volume, flow, pressure and temperature. The Bacsoft Smart Controller connected to the Octave water meter and STS sensors and communicated with the cloud using the Modbus RTU protocol. This enhanced feature set will enable Water Utilities to better control water flow and detect leakages in a proactive way from the Armare-Tec Connect Control Center.
